Tele-therapy and Coaching Services

 Tele-therapy Approach

The difference between seeing a glass half empty and one half full is a matter of shifting perspective. It sounds simple, but years of trauma, habitual behaviors, and thinking patterns can train our brains to see only what we expect to see. Research has shown that these brain patterns can be shifted at any time in life. New brain-based therapies make this process more accessible by creating shifts in your feeling and thinking states that lead to more balance and emotional wellbeing.

Learning to recognize and listen to your body’s innate intelligence is the first step. When you can feel the difference between a reactive state and a receptive one you gain more choice and control. Together we will develop a plan centered on your goals for change in a supportive, non-judging environment.

Brainspotting

Brainspotting (BSP) is a therapeutic technique that taps into the brain’s scanning and self-healing skill. It is an excellent technique for working with trauma and other therapeutic issues. It is also used in the areas of peak performance and spiritual consciousness. Therapists are using BSP with athletes of all abilities, actors, writers, and musicians. It can also assist with improved public speaking, meditation practice and healing physical conditions.

The Enneagram

The Enneagram is a personality typing system that describes different personality types with distinct patterns of thinking, feeling and behaving. By learning to recognize our habitual patterns in the moment we gain greater freedom of choice as to how we want to react in situations that would typically cause us pain or discomfort.

Mindfulness Training

Mindfulness is a state of attention on the present moment. When you're being mindful, you observe your thoughts and feelings from a distance, without judging them as good or bad. Increasingly research has shown that developing this capacity improves our emotional life and helps reduce stress.

Coaching

The International Coach Federation (ICF) defines coaching as "partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential."

Coaching is a forward looking, action-oriented approach. Rather than looking at the past to understand, repair and change the circumstances of our lives, we look at what is working now, what you really want for the future and what will get you there.

Whether there are decisions or changes you need to make in your life or you need to feel more confident or motivated, coaching can help you set realistic and achievable goals to progress toward a new future.
